Most of us were dreaming of an endless summer, but darlings, those days are coming to an end. This swim season was all about off the shoulder bikinis and high-legged one pieces and now that the season is ending you’re ready to trade in your suits for scarves. But you don’t have to!
We took this one swimsuit and styled it in two different ways. This is the Good Times suit from CHRLDR. It’s cut high in the front and low in the back and runs small so we’re wearing a size M/L for a little more coverage in the back. I was ready for lake life with the suit and paired it with my Ray Bans and an over-sized Levis button down (I actually really like buying men’s dress shirts as cover-ups).
Chelsea took the same suit and wore it like a bodysuit. Pairing a bodysuit with boyfriend jeans is something you would do for a casual dinner out with the girls, rooftop cocktails, movie night, or something equally casual chic. So why not use your swimsuit as a bodysuit?! Chelsea paired it with boyfriend jeans and nude pumps from BCBG and her Marc Jacobs sunnies.
You can be daring and wear it with a long, sheer tulle skirt and classic Adidas to make it very street style or a pair of cut off shorts and caged flat sandals to keep it easy. Swimsuits are not inexpensive (although with our discount code ‘PRIVATE10’ you can save 10% off at CHRLDR!) so why not get the most out of it.
For those off-the-shoulder bikini tops, try it with a pair of high-waisted skinny jeans and slides. You can also go with a pair of distressed mom jeans and strappy sandals. You really can’t go wrong with a good pair of mom jeans this season. I couldn’t have predicted I’d be saying that but, here we are!
Go from swimsuit to bodysuit and take your look from the beach to the street, Darlings!
